Baptism
One Lord, one faith, one baptism, Ephesians 4:5
The Bible speaks of baptism in more than one way: John's baptism of repentance, baptism in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, baptism with the Holy Ghost and with fire, and more. Christians who trust in Jesus differ on who should be baptized, how, and what it does; the Salvation page shows each reading with all its verses, and this site does not choose.

To think about
- Acts 8:36 asks, "what doth hinder me to be baptized?" If you have not been baptized, what is holding you back? If you have, what do you remember of it?
- Romans 6:4 says "walk in newness of life". What is new in your life since you came to Jesus?
