Proverbs 27:17

Sharpen

“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” (Proverbs 27:17)

Follow the thread down: the milk first, then the bread, then the meat. Every verse is the King James text, checked word for word.

1Milk

Lay the foundation: what Christians believe, in order.

“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” (1 Peter 2:2)

The foundation, in order

Twelve lessons, each built the same way: the milk first, then the bread, then the meat. Start at the first.

2Bread

Follow the threads: one thing at a time, through the whole Bible.

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4)

Where the threads cross

Some verses sit on more than one thread. On each thread, open a verse to see the other threads it is on. These are the threads that share the most verses.

The list is made here.

Walk in it

The fruit of the Spirit, one by one (Galatians 5:22-23), and lessons for living it.

3Meat

Give an answer: when it is questioned, and where Christians differ.

“But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age,” (Hebrews 5:14)
