Scripture quoting Scripture
It is written
Places where the New Testament says it is quoting ("it is written", "saith the scripture", "as saith the prophet"), with the Old Testament words beside them. The words often differ, and both are given as the King James prints them. Where the New Testament does not say where its words come from, the note gives the nearest Old Testament words and says so. Jesus' own quotes are on Scripture he quoted, and quotes the text says were fulfilled are on Prophecies fulfilled. Every verse here is checked word for word against the King James before the site goes up.
